Discovery Trio, Filter

66.00$

This Trio Filtre allows you to experience the unique terroirs of three renowned coffee-growing regions. This 3x300g format allows you to taste and compare the 3 coffees, so it's bound to evolve over the year, and the varieties received may vary from those presented:

Cielo, Patricia Perez, Fidencio Castillo

Cielo

Cielo is an approachable, well-balanced filter coffee with classic
notes of dark chocolate, fig and a comforting finish of toasted almond. This
batch comes to us from producer Alejo Castro's Volcan Azul farm in Costa Rica. Alejo is one of our longest-standing relationships. Growers for five generations, Alejo's family planted their first coffee plants in the early 1900s with nothing but the best coffee in the world in mind. Their mission is to combine quality with environmental protection.

Patricia Perez

The long-awaited return. (Re)Discover Patricia Perez, a Guatemalan coffee with a mild, sweet profile. A wonderful blend of chocolate and nutty notes. The perfect coffee to start the day watching the snow fall outside.

In the village of Agua Dulce, Patricia runs the family farm, growing Bourbon, Caturra, Maragogype and Geisha varieties in the shade of lemon, orange, banana and apricot trees. This year's batch comes to us from the highest point of his land and is made up of Bourbon and Caturra varieties.

Fidencio Castillo

Enjoy a full-bodied coffee with fruity notes of citrus and apple. Finca El Pedregal, the source of this coffee, was one of the first to produce coffee in the municipality of Arboleda in Colombia. Today, Fidencio runs the farm, which now boasts over 20,000 trees. Coffee runs in the Castillo family, with daughter Francy, in conjunction with partner Frank Torres, helping our import partner Apex Coffee to forge links with local growers.

After 9 months of work, JF is preparing to serve the first Quebec specialty coffees to a new clientele. Selling bags of coffee tracing the origins of the product with the names of the farmers...
