Pro Tip
If the plunger is difficult to push down, the grind is probably too fine.
You can adjust the ratio depending on the coffees you use. We suggest varying between 13g and 16g.
Step N°1
Fill the kettle with fresh filtered water and bring to a boil.
Step N°2
Place a paper filter in the holder. For this recipe, we are using the inverted method. The plunger part should be at the bottom and the brewing chamber on top. Fill with hot water and screw the filter holder on top. Return the water to a boil.
Step N°3
While the brewer is warming up, grind 15 g of coffee.
Step N°4
Flip the Aeropress onto the cup and press to allow water to pass through the filter to rinse it.
Step N°5
Once the water reaches boiling, wait 30 seconds. Place the Aeropress back in the inverted position, this time on the scale. Add the coffee grounds to the brewing chamber and tare the scale to zero.
Step N°6
Start the timer and pour 200 g of water over the coffee. Stir well with a spoon to fully saturate the grounds and screw the filter on top.
Step N°7
At 1 minute 30 seconds of brewing, flip the brewer over onto the cup and press slowly for 30 seconds.
