Café Saint-Henri is coming to Dix30!
After months of preparation, our CSH Mobile trailer crossed the bridge to Brossard, where it will be there until October. This will be our very first branch on the South Shore of Montreal. This coffee trailer is much more than a business project, it is a family project for the employees of our Quebec branch. Here is the short story of this unique branch.
It all started when Guillaume Landry, the manager of the St-Roch branch in Quebec, decided to buy a trailer which was formerly an Indian food truck. For several years, he had had the dream of opening a coffee trailer to introduce specialty coffee to new fans and the purchase of this trailer was the first step towards making his dream come true.
He then presented his project to the management team and they immediately fell in love with the idea of this mobile branch, so the company decided to support him in this project.
Guillaume then undertook the renovation of the trailer, redoing the entire interior himself, in addition to rebuilding two of the four walls. He then asked for help from a few friends, who are also employees of our Quebec branch. Nicolas Poulin, a graduate in graphic design and barista, worked on the exterior design of the trailer as well as the menus on the doors. Émile Lepage, bachelor of architecture, conceptualized the plans of the trailer with Guillaume by making a 3D model of the interior and assisted
Guillaume throughout the renovations. Pierre-Luc Richard worked on the manufacturing of the counter which is a nod to our Quebec branch. While Guillaume spent well-caffeinated days (and some nights) working on CSH Mobile, Caroline Larouche, the floor manager in Quebec, made sure that everything was running smoothly in the branch.
We are proud to have supported Guillaume and the entire team in this wonderful family project! CSH Mobile is now open in Quartier Dix30, very close to the Apple Store, so if you live on the South Shore or are in the area, come see us to enjoy an exceptional coffee and think about the whole story that surrounds this beautiful family project!
Congratulations to Guillaume and the whole team and good luck to CSH Mobile!
