The opening of the very first Café Saint-Henri

L'ouverture du tout premier Café Saint-Henri

January 1st, 11:11 am. Exactly 10 years ago, @JF Leduc opened the doors of Café Saint-Henri in the namesake neighbourhood for its official opening day.

After 9 months of hard work, JF is getting ready to serve the first Quebec specialty coffees to a new clientele. Selling bags of coffee tracing the product's origins with the farmers' names was also quite innovative. That day, a great crowd of friends, family, and former colleagues dropped by to encourage him. Saint-Henri locals, curious to discover their new neighbourhood café, were also part of the event. JF remembers a perfect day, a friendly atmosphere, a great team and a real enthusiasm for this new place and its offer. An offer and a mission that have remained the same since the very start of the adventure: to make you discover and enjoy exceptional quality coffees, purchased directly from coffee growers according to rigorous criteria of traceability and fairness.

Here we are now 10 years later with 8 cafés, 70 employees and a new management team with great projects for Café Saint-Henri. We've come a long way since the opening of our small neighbourhood café on January 1, 2011, at 11:11 a.m.! Throughout the year, we'll be celebrating our 10th anniversary with many surprises, exclusive products, fascinating stories, and much more! And because we owe it all to you, we're going to spoil you for the occasion. Follow our posts to make sure you don't miss anything!
