Cascara means 'husk in Spanish and corresponds to the skin and dried pulp of the coffee cherry. Guided by the School of Food Science and Technology at the University of Costa Rica, the Perez family of the Helsar micro-mill in Zarcero perfected their process and produced one of the best cascaras we've had the chance to taste! Filled with antioxidants and 4 times less caffeinated than brewed coffee, cascara can be integrated in your routine in the form of a hot or iced infusion or even in your summer cocktails! This one explodes with flavors of hibiscus, orange, honey and apple cider. A product to discover!
