Our Colosseo Espresso is our most developed espresso that will provide you with a full-bodied and heavy espresso that tastes delicious as a traditional style cappuccino.

Story

It is currently a blend of coffees from 2 farms: Cachoeira Da Grama farm in Brazil and Finca La Union in Guatemala. Fazenda Cachoeira da Grama has been in the Carvalho Dias family since 1890 until 2016 when Bourbon took over the administration of the farm. The company uses this farm as a processing plant and as a research and development center for varieties, picking and processing with a focus on improving quality in order to become a reference. On this Brazilian farm, everything is done manually, including handling and harvesting, as the topography does not allow any kind of mechanization. The second coffee comes from Finca La Union with which we have been working for 4 years. The magnificent 20 hectare plot is dotted with 18 water sources, a waterfall and a view of the imposing Acatenango volcano. Don Cesar Higueros, his wife Nora and their niece Mayra grow Bourbon and Caturra and work closely with the 10 families they hire each year to pick their coffee cherries.
